Following the recent news of being awarded 3 AA Rosettes for a second year, our team have been given an extra reason to celebrate!
Our talented Commis Chef, Katie Allan, has made it to the finals of the prestigious ‘Delifresh – Young Chef of the Year’ competition.
Katie not only wowed the judges but completely stole the show. Finishing 1st, she was awarded a near-perfect score of 44/45 by none other than the legendary Pierre Koffmann—yes, you read that right! A three Michelin-starred culinary icon, Koffmann had nothing but praise for Katie’s demonstrated skills, leaving us all bursting with pride.
We’ve all witnessed Katie’s willingness to learn & dedication for creating stand-out dishes. We’re thrilled to see her work at this early stage, recognised on such a grand stage.
As we look forward to the finals, the excitement is building across the entire hotel.
